In 2006, I went to China with my family. It was very fun there. I really enjoyed it! The church was very small. And, I didn't understand what everyone was saying. People always wanted to touch my hair because it was a different color than black. There were outdoor markets. And, we lived in a apartment. I made some friends there. And, now they live in Oregon. Their names are Madeleine and Gwendolyn. We had three birthdays there. One for Madeleine, one for daddy and one for Ian (my little brother). Isaac is my other brother. He was only one-year-old and he learned how to walk in China. Also, he is very cute. Ian is too.

Sophie, I love that you remember all of these things about China!!! That was so long ago. I can't believe how awesome your memory is. I will never forget living there with you. Love, Mom.
